Event Description: Driver was hauling 2×4 lumber, open in the bed at 90 mph in left lane, 85 mph in the right, leaving Fort Wayne, northbound on I-69 and finally turning off at Exit 326 at County Road 11A south of Auburn. High beams and driving light turned up, so anyone he tailgated got blinding lights shining in the mirrors. Surrounding traffic was driving 70 mph. Failed to yield and failed to slow down for emergency vehicles parked on the shoulder with lights flashing. Tailgated every driver in front of him by just a few feet, and often cut them off as well. If anyone ahead of him signaled to pass, he would speed up to block them from using the left lane. Strangely, he used his turn signals during all this.
Driver Description: Indiana “In God We Trust” License Plate #YAE 709, silver/gray Chevy Silverado. Driver appeared to be a white male in his 30s, with glasses, dark hair, and was slightly heavy-set.
