Iowa – NDN610

As rush hour kicks in and everyone is eager to head home around 3 PM, I find myself easing into the turning lane amid increasingly tight traffic. With a green light in the right turning lane, we begin to move forward. Suddenly, the driver in front of me reacts unpredictably and slams on their brakes. To avoid a collision, I quickly steer my car onto the roadside. In a reckless maneuver, that driver swerves into the next lane, narrowly missing two other vehicles, before speeding away toward Cedar, Iowa, their likely home.

It’s truly frustrating to witness such dangerous behavior, especially when there was ample space—enough for a bike to squeeze through—between us. Clearly, this individual was upset after a long day at work, but such a reaction is entirely uncalled for. What could have been a routine drive turned into a potential disaster, all because of a moment of poor judgment.

The driver was merging onto Peachtree Parkway and the car in front of him stopped. He felt like everyone should have moved out of his way and started flashing his brights, tailgating and weaving all over the lanes. Total road rager. He did this for over a mile and almost caused several accidents. Needs some mental health attention if not suspension of his license.
