WENDELL, N.C. (WNCN) – A woman living in Eastern Wake County has gotten people’s attention on Riley Hill Road. It started with a sign.
Linda Jones said she placed the sign in the front of her home to get drivers to slow down, but the message written on it has stirred some feelings in the community. The sign reads: “If you don’t slow down, I hope you die on this road.”
Jones didn’t realize how much attention her message would get.
